This year, the Kardashians' annual Christmas card seemed to cause the famous family nothing but strife.
With Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian on the rocks, Kanye West on tour and Bruce and Kris Jenner separated, things were bound to get a little uncomfortable.
With famous photographer David LaChapelle taking the gig for the first time however, all that fighting had a hefty price tag.
Radar Online reports that the shoot cost $250,000, as his team had to create the post-apocalyptic set on which the family stood atop mountains of tabloids, not to mention their costly costumes.
Lucky for the Kardashians, they didn’t have to pay for the shoot themselves, as the production team for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” footed the bill.
It’s a good thing, as the situation got tense when the photographer suggested a women-only Christmas card, until Bruce’s objections were heard and he was included.
Not only that, though, but the quarter-of-a-million-dollar Christmas card nearly didn’t include Kourtney Kardashian’s children, due to an oversight by LaChapelle.
