When Kelly Clarkson announced that her Christmas wish was to get pregnant with her first child, she might have forgotten to wish for no morning sickness.
In a new interview with the “Today” show on Tuesday, the “People Like Us” singer said she’s been feeling so sick that she doesn’t even consider it morning sickness.

“I don’t know why they call it morning sickness because it’s like all day and all night,” she said (via E! News). “I’m super excited about being pregnant. I’m just looking forward to the second trimester. They say it’s better.”
Clarkson, who is convinced she’s having a girl, says she and new hubby Brandon Blackstock already have a name picked out for each gender.
The musician also told "Parade" recently that she’s looking forward to being pregnant so the media will stop talking about her weight.
“Everybody calls me fat all the time, so I can’t wait to have a reason, instead of everybody just being a jerk,” she said, adding, “I’ve never been Gisele Bundchen, so ain’t nobody expectin’ that! I like to set a [low] standard so people don’t expect a lot.”
