Fresh off reports that Lady Gaga has topped the Billboard charts again with the debut of “Artpop,” the singer is teasing a possible sequel to the album.
In a recent interview with MSN, Gaga suggested that she might reveal a follow-up to the album titled “Act II.”
According to NME, the “Venus” singer said that she might soon release a more “experimental” LP as a sequel to the “commercial” debut of “Artpop.”
Gaga also discussed her past comments about wanting to perform “Artpop” from start to finish on her tour.
“Once I start to get the story together [for the live show], I’ll figure out if I’m gonna keep it in order or not,” she said (via NME). “And by then, as well, I might have Act two out from the album, and it might be nice to play both ‘acts’ on the tour.”
Mother Monster’s new LP sold 258,000 copies of her new record in the first week, allowing her to reach no. 1 on the Billboard 200, Vulture reports.
In comparison to her pop star counterparts, Katy Perry’s “Prism” sold 286,000 copies in the first week, while Miley Cyrus sold 270,000 copies of “Bangerz” in the same time.
