“Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul is skirting the law once again in the trailer for his latest project.
The film, an adaptation of the hit “Need for Speed” video game series, follows the young actor in a life-and-death car chase that’s also surprisingly emotional.
Unlike many action flicks, stuntman-turned-director Scott Waugh wanted to use as little CGI as possible, so nearly everything “is real, whether it’s a car jumping a medium or flying off a bridge,” according to “Entertainment Weekly.”
The movie is a revenge tale, in which Paul’s character sets out to take out the man (Dominic Cooper) responsible for having him falsely imprisoned and dating his ex-girlfriend (Dakota Johnson, “Fifty Shades of Grey”).
“Need for Speed” also stars rapper Kid Cudi, Ramon Rodriguez (FOX’s “Gang Related”), Michael Keaton and Imogen Poots.
The movie races into theaters on March 14, 2014. Do you have a need for speed? Weigh in with your thoughts on the trailer below!
