Weeks after Katharine McPhee was photographed kissing director Michael Morris, the affair appears to be over.
A source tells “People” that she and Morris, who directed several episodes of her ill-fated NBC drama “Smash,” are no longer together.
At the time the photos were taken, McPhee and her own husband, Nick Cokas, had been separated for several months.
“Katharine is no longer seeing Michael – at least for now,” the insider said. “Katharine still has no plans to move forward with divorce at the moment, though they are not living together.”
McPhee has been radio silent on Twitter since the scandal broke on October 22, while Morris has been seen out and about with his wife, Mary McCormack, whose own NBC series, “Welcome to the Family,” was cancelled last month.
The pair, who seem to be trying to work things out, have three children together. Along with their youngest daughter, two-year-old Lillian, there’s also Rose, 6, and Margaret, 9.
