Kevin Hart and Ice Cube are set to star opposite one another in a new comedy called “Ride Along,” and while many are calling the film a “buddy cop” flick, Hart isn’t playing a cop and they definitely aren’t buddies.

The “Think Like a Man” star joins Cube, playing an undercover cop, for an overnight ride along – and of course things go awry.

“Now, in order to prove that he is worthy of his future bride, he must survive the most insane night of his life,” according to the official description.

John Leguizamo, Bruce McGill (“Rizzoli & Isles”), Tika Sumpter (“Gossip Girl”) and “Saturday Night Live” standout Jay Pharoah also star.

Cube is also set to return alongside Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill in the forthcoming “21 Jump Street” sequel, reprising his role as Captain Dickson in “22 Jump Street.”

“Ride Along” will hit theaters on January 17. What did you think of the trailer? Share your thoughts in the comments!
