When it comes to providing memorable moments, Lady Gaga never ceases to disappoint. With the arrival of her new album, “Artpop,” we’ve chosen the top five craziest Gaga moments of 2013:

1. Gaga-licious Outfits

Unconventional doesn’t even begin to describe Lady Gaga’s attire.  In the past, she’s done her best to surprise her fans with the strangest of outfits, and this year was no different.

While leaving a hotel in Berlin in October, Lady Gaga was seen walking around covered in fur.  However, in typical Gaga fashion, it wasn’t just her clothes that were covered, but her entire face and head as well.  The two-foot-tall extension rose from her shoulders and formed a triangle shape around her head, blocking her face from view except for two tiny eye slots.

Even more recently, at the YouTube awards this month, Mother Monster chose to wear what appeared to be a set of creepy dentures.  The mouthpiece seemed real, but the teeth were actually acrylic.  Even more puzzling is that it was initially intended to be a bracelet, but leave it to Gaga to stretch the boundaries of normalcy.

2. Gaga’s Trip Down the Yellow Brick Road

Lady Gaga was booked to perform live on the set of “Good Morning America” in early September, but rather than simply singing to her audience, she put on a show in true Gaga fashion.

She began by dressing as Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz.”  Surrounded by a tin man, a lion and a scarecrow, Gaga walked down a yellow brick runway as she sang her single “Applause.”

On her way to Oz, she pulled a costume change to become the Good Witch, and when the performance was finished, she told host, Robin Roberts, “There’s no place like Good Morning America.”

3. Feuds with Adam Levine and Kelly Osbourne

Lady Gaga also took to the Twitter-verse where she had to fend off Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine and “Fashion Police” host Kelly Osbourne

Let’s start with the Kelly Osbourne feud.  It all started when Osbourne irritated Gaga by insinuating she was pregnant based on what she was wearing at the Grammys.  Shots were exchanged as each one called the other a “bully,” and before long, even Kelly’s mother, Sharon, was involved.

Gaga brought Sharon a cake as a goodwill gesture in her daughter’s honor during an “X Factor UK” appearance, but Kelly was having none of it.  She elected to carry on the feud for some time before finally requesting a ceasefire.

Adam Levine came out of nowhere and blasted Lady Gaga for her recent homages to Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus” and other artists in her “Applause” video.  Levine was having none of that and tweeted, “recycling old art for a younger generation doesn’t make you an artist.  It makes you an art teacher.”

Gaga fired back calling Levine the “Art police” and went on to write the lyrics of her song “Do what you want (with my body)” in a series of tweets. The whole exchange lasted only a few hours with Levine insisting that he is, in fact, “not an artist” and merely “enjoys making music with his friends.”

4. Gaga Will Blast Off to a New Dimension in 2015

It was recently announced that Lady Gaga plans to take her act out of this world, literally.  Gaga has reserved a seat on Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo, set for launch in 2015.

The announcement came following the release of her song “Venus.”  Once in space, she will sing one song that will reportedly require extensive preparations.

“She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere,” a source told “Us Weekly.”

The ticket cost $250,000 and she may sit next to one of the several other celebrities that have signed up for the flight including Justin Beiber, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ashton Kutcher.

5. Making a Splash at the VMAs

Miley Cyrus may have stolen the show at the 2013 MTV VMAs with her wild dance moves, but Gaga came in at a close second.

Gaga was promoting “Artpop” and once again, the story ends up being about what she wore.  To perform her single “Applause,” and came out onstage wearing an all-white getup with a box as a hat.  Her face is the only thing visible but she quickly pulls a costume change just one minute in.

One minute later and the performer is on her third costume of the show, a blonde wig and blue suit.  As if that wasn’t enough, she changes not once, but twice more, and by the end of the song is wearing a very revealing art-inspired outfit.  That’s five costumes in less than five minutes.
