Vicki Gunvalson may hold the title of the longest-running “Real Housewives” star, but she admits she wishes she’d never done the show.
Speaking with Digital Spy, the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star opened up about sticking around for nine years and why she feels the show led to her split from her husband, Donn.
“I think the show had a lot to do with me getting divorced,” she said. “I think it was too much pressure on a weak marriage. I wonder where Donn and I would be now if we didn’t do the show. But we elected to do the show together as a family. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for us.”
Not one to hold back, the outspoken reality star admitted that she does regret signing on for the Bravo series.
“Absolutely... But we’re at where we’re at now, and I’m not going to look back and say ‘coulda, woulda, shoulda,’” she added to Digital Spy. “There’s some really great things that have come from the show. But one of the downsides was that it broke up my family, and that’s tough to take.”
Still, Vicki will be back for season nine, which began filming in late October. Read the full interview here.
