With its Christmas Day release now set, Paramount has gone ahead and released the second full trailer for “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
The high-pedigree film from Martin Scorsese, which is already garnering Oscar buzz, stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a Wall Street broker who goes down the rabbit hole.
The trailer reveals more details of “a young 22-year-old Jordan Belfort (DiCaprio) who rises to the top after starting his own firm out of an abandoned auto body shop with the mission to target the top 1 percent as clients,” according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”
“Wolf” also stars Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Kyle Chandler (“Friday Night Lights”), Margot Robbie (“Pan Am”) and new “How I Met Your Mother” star Cristin Milioti.
The project is based on a memoir of the same name by the real-life Belfort, which according to “Entertainment Weekly,” “tells the story of his time as a stock swindler who was eventually sentenced to prison for fraud and insider trading.”
“The Wolf of Wall Street” will be released on December 25. What do you think of Leo in the role?
