Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, is reportedly not on the guest list for Prince George’s christening.
While that sounds like there might be trouble in paradise, an insider tells “People” that it is actually the total opposite.
“If she went to this totally private service, it would be tantamount to saying they were about to be engaged,” the source said.
In fact, there has been a spate of rumors of late, suggesting that Harry is preparing to pop the question to Bonas, his longtime girlfriend.
Still, the news refutes rumors that Bonas had been asked to attend and was mulling it over.
“It was always so unlikely that she would be invited,” a family friend told “People.” “To say she is shy and mulling it over is rubbish.”
The christening is set to be held at the Chapel Royal in St. James’s Palace on Wednesday, October 23, according to ABC News. Breaking with royal family tradition, the event will take place in the afternoon.
