Meg Ryan is bringing the “Must See TV” back to NBC!
The romantic comedy queen has signed on for a major TV return at the Peacock next year with a new comedy series, "Entertainment Weekly" reports.
Ryan is set to star and executive produce the as-yet-untitled comedy series as a Rose, single mom who chooses to go back to her job as an editor at a New York publishing house.
Now working under her 30-year-old ex-intern, Rose “must find a way to keep her boss, her teenage kids, her almost ex-husband and her meddlesome mother-in-law all happy, which results in her overcomplicating every situation and somehow always making it worse.”
Here’s hoping the show will show the newly-single Rose getting back on the dating scene. Ryan’s former rom-com costars like Tom Hanks and Billy Crystal would make for great guest stars!
