CBS will once again have a full house next summer.
The network announced today that they have renewed their flagship summer series “Big Brother” for season 16.
“Big Brother” joins the previously renewed “Under the Dome,” which became a formidable hit airing Monday nights after the hit reality series.
The controversial 15th season aired its season finale earlier this month, airing its 500th episode on September 5, according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”
The companion series, “Big Brother: After Dark,” is also set to return next year on TVGN, where it debuted this year after running on Showtime 2 for several years.
The only major addition to their summer slate whose fate has not yet been announced was “Unforgettable.”
After being cancelled due to middling ratings following the first season, the series was resurrected for a second season that began airing in late July.
Are you excited about the “Big Brother” renewal or were you hoping CBS would shake things up with a new series next summer?
