With the new season of “Dancing with the Stars” cut down to one two-hour show a week this fall, the hit series is looking for some fresh blood.
Though the cast won’t officially be announced until next week, TMZ reports that the show is bringing on “The Voice” social media correspondent Christina Milian and “Glee” actress Amber Riley, among others.
Perhaps the show’s biggest gets are Valerie Harper, who announced earlier this year that she is living with terminal brain cancer, and actress Leah Remini, who was recently excommunicated from the Church of Scientology.
Since then, Remini has been on a tear, reportedly signing on for a tell-all memoir and filling a police report in the case of the wife of the church’s leader, who was presumed missing.
Also rumored to be joining “DWTS” are “Saved By the Bell” alum Elizabeth Berkley, former “Jersey Shore” star Snooki and ex-NFL star Keyshawn Johnson.
The entire season 17 cast will officially be announced on “Good Morning America” the morning of Wednesday, September 4.
“Dancing with the Stars” will return on Monday, September 16 on ABC.
