Perfect? That seems like a grand statement!

December 5, 2017

Not all Christmas songs are created equal. We all have our preferences when it comes to Holiday tunes. Some of us prefer the Bing Crosby classics and others are more in the mood for modern songs like Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You."

Here's the ranking of the Worst Christmas songs this year:

I love "Dominick the Donkey." I don't understand why people ranked that the worst song.

There's a new Christmas song out this year and it's being dubbed "the perfect Christmas song" and the "happiest Christmas song ever" according to science. Dr. Joe Bennett decided that he wanted to write the PERFECT Christmas song.  So he studied the lyrics, tempo, vocals, and musical key of 200 of the top Christmas songs to figure out an exact science to creating the perfect song.

Doing research Bennet found that the ideal song should have 115 beats per minute and include words in the lyrics like Santa, snow, home, peace, love, and lots of mentions of Christmas too. It's called "Love's Not Just for Christmas." Do you think it's the perfect song?
