Celebs Show Support For Taylor After Groping Case Testimony

It's Tay vs. a former Denver Radio DJ!

August 11, 2017

Sometimes us radio people get a bad rap in the entertainment industry. I remember when I told someone I wanted to be in radio they said, "but radio people are the pond scum of the entertainment business." Clearly, I didn't listen to that person's advice. And for the most part, I'd say the majority of radio people are cool.

There's a former radio DJ from Denver though that's giving us a bad name. In 2013, a morning show host allegedly groped Taylor Swift during a meet and greet. Tay told her people about the incident and they informed the radio station's managers. Two days later morning man, David Mueller was fired from his job. Since the incident, Mueller hasn't been able to find work in or outside of radio because the incident went public. He's suing Taylor for $3 million in federal court for defamation.

Here's the meet and greet photo that may or may not show he's groping her backside.

I see his hand in her butt area not her ribs like he claimed. Taylor took to the stand yesterday to tell her side of the story. "It was a definite grab. A very long grab," Swift testified. "It was a very shocking thing that has never happened to me before."

And celebs are backing her up left and right on Twitter.

And Nelly Furtado's tweet just further makes radio people look like creeps. Who are these people? And how would they ever think this was ok?

You can read more about the court battle here. I'm team Taylor all the way!
