Can Your Side Of The Bed Be Making You Miserable?

Are you feeling a bit miserable today? You may think it's from the fog this morning or the fact that you went to bed a bit later than normal. But your misery may have a lot to do with the side of the bed you choose. 

What side of the bed do you sleep on? I sleep on the right side of the bed. My cats, remote, and Macbook Pro occupy the left side of my bed. But the findings of a new study have nothing to do with the side of the bed you sleep on. It's all about the side of the bed you are waking up on!

Apparently getting up on the wrong side of the bed is a legit thing! So what is the wrong side? People who get out on the left side of the bed tend to be happier. Not only that, they are 7% happier and they tend to feel awake 15 minutes sooner than those that get out on the right side. Right-siders also feel more grumpy and tired when they get out of bed.

Hmm, maybe this is why I am in such a crappy mood lately? If you need me later, I will be moving my nightstand to the left side of the bed so I can wake up happier and more awake from now on!
