A luxury apartment building in Brooklyn, NY is clearing the air. The 490-unit high rise is officially banning smoking! The building’s property manager says both current and prospective tenants have voiced their desire for a smoke-free space, and when the ban was put to a vote, the majority of residents ruled in favor. When the new policy goes into effect in March, residents will not be allowed to smoke inside their apartments or within 25 feet of the building’s entrance. The ban will apply to existing tenants as well as new ones. What’s next- banning screaming infants?
